    The North Tulsa Forward Program (NTFP) is a culturally competent and comprehensive homeownership program. NTFP was created by the Be Well Community Development Corporation to support potential and existing homeowners with navigating the entire lifecycle of the homeownership process.  The program will assist individuals seeking to become first-time homebuyers in North Tulsa’s District 1. 

    Participants will receive free financial and homebuying education and down payment assistance (DPA) or closing costs up to $10,000 towards the purchase of a home.

    Goal:  Increase homeownership in Tulsa District 1

    Objectives:

    • Investment in the current North Tulsa community and those also wanting to call it home
    • Improve financial literacy
    • Provide down payment assistance*

    *Must meet conditions to qualify. 

    Here's How To Qualify:

    • Must have an annual income at or below 80% of the Average Medium Income (AMI) for the Tulsa Metro Area as determined by the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
    • Meet or have the potential to obtain credit score of 620 within 1 year.
    • Never purchased, either individually or jointly, a single-family residence in the State of Oklahoma in the previous 5 years.
    • The home purchased must be a residential property located within the City of Tulsa District 1 which includes zip codes 74106, 74110, 74126, 74127, 74130.
    • Must agree to occupy the home as a primary residence for at least 5 years from closing date.
    • The home cannot serve, in whole or part, as an income producing property for at least 5 years from closing date.
    • The accepted applicant(s) must be named on the deed to the property.
    • Must successfully complete financial literacy and homebuyer educational program.
